Simple Internet Marketing Secret Blasts Your Response - Without Anyone Reading Your Sales Pitch

Recently I was doing a marketing consultation with a woman who wanted to know how she could multiply the sales of her online promotions.

She had seen some of the tricks I use, and wanted to know if I had any ideas she could apply to her own products and services.

Here’s what I told her:

I said, one of the reasons my sites are so successful is not because I’m a genius or anything like that. No, it’s because I supplement my sales letters with audio.

In other words, you read my ads, then you have an option to listen to an interview on the subject. Doing so always blasts my response, without exception.

And so I advised her to capture her passion for what she is selling on audio, by getting someone to interview her, and then put it on her site.

I know it sounds simple, but it works like gangbusters.
I’ll give you an example.

I got an email this morning from a guy who had heard one of my interviews several months ago. He never read the sales letter, he just listened to the audio download. He heard me interviewing the author of a product I am selling and wanted to buy it.

He heard the passion and feeling in our voices. It wasn’t a sales pitch. Yes, we mentioned the product. But more importantly, we talked about what the product does. When the author got going, he couldn’t stop talking about it. His passion came through and people listening can hear the sincerity.

People feel like they are being “let in” on something fascinating. And not being bombarded with hype and huge claims.
Try it yourself and see what happens. I think you will be pleasantly surprised by the results.

Just remember, the idea here is to add audio recordings to your online promotions or your site that are designed to sell — but are not a flat out pitch.

Why Internet Marketing Sucks

Do you think you know who your biggest, baddest and most sinister competitor is online? Believe it or not, it’s not other marketers. It’s not spam filters either. Nor is it the bad customers, sleazy business partners or time-suckers who try their hardest to control your life.

No, your biggest competitor is much worse — much more dangerous and powerful — than all those combined. In fact, all the above put together is like a kiss from your grandma compared to the sheer power and ruthlessness of the real competitor we all face when we do business online today.

Who is this vicious Internet “nemesis”?

The answer is simple: It’s the endless amount of government red tape and bureaucratic meddling — all the way from your local city ordinances to international law. It’s true. The more government sticks its fingers in the piethe more out of control the laws will get, the harder it will be for the smaller businesses to make money, and the more dangerous it will be to even try.

If you don’t think it can happen to the Internet, think again. It’s already happening. It’s happened to every cheap media ever invented. From infomercialsto 900 numbersto broadcast FAXand now — after the draconian “do not call” list here in the U.S. — even the telephone. It’s only a matter of time before some major roadblocks are thrown up for Internet marketers. Roadblocks that are going to put a serious damper on your ability to milk money from the Web.

Which is why I really believe people should work hard at mastering direct response marketing and copywriting first, and the Internet-specific stuff second. Just ask yourself, “what exactly would I dohow would my business surviveif the Internet was taken away from me tomorrow?” If you can’t answer that question, then you need to study less Internet-specific tactics and more direct response marketing and copywriting tactics. Because if you have your head on straight about how direct response marketing works, then it won’t matter what media you use.

Now don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying we shouldn’t use the Internet to make a ton of money. And I’m not saying people shouldn’t keep up on the Internet tactics at the same time. That’d be foolish. Just don’t rely on it exclusively. Recognize the Web for what it is: just one of many tools to sell and build a list of customers with.

In that respect, it’s no different than running a small classified ad or dropping a letter in the mail. Sure, it’s extremely fast and cheap. Sure you can literally make money online in less than five minutes if you know what you’re doing. And sure you can instantly access tens of millions of peoplefor mere pocket changeyou might never have been able to access before.

But to rely on the Internet exclusively could be very dangerous to you, your business and your income. Just ask all the people who were making millions of dollars per year using nothing but broadcast FAX or telemarketing. One day they were raking the money in hand over fist. The next they were out of business, living with their parents and parking cars for a living.

The Deadly Internet Marketing Mistake That Can Cost You A Fortune

Last month I got a call from a consulting client who was having trouble selling a product online that should probably be selling itself.

It is one of those few products out there with a market so rabid and so hungry for what he is selling, his business should have been raking in tens of thousands of dollars.

And yet, he was getting maybe one or two sales per week — if that.

When I examined his business it became painfully obvious why he was floundering. He was making a HUGE (but common) mistake many, many Internet marketers make. Especially those just starting out.

What was the mistake?

He was selling his product — which he could easily justify a few hundred or a thousand dollars for — for just $14.

I saw this price of $14 for his system that could make people who buy it thousands of dollars very quickly (it is a money making product), and I just said something is wrong here.

It is so cheap, it just didn’t jive.

And it was obvious this guy was simply lacking the confidence in his own system and in his program and his customers can smell it.

The low price just isn’t believable.

And I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen this. People sell these awesome, life changing products for pennies and wonder why nobody is buying.

But, when they raise the price, the sales fly through the door.

It’s just the way it is.

And if you are selling a truly unique and life changing product to a market who really wants it, and are not getting the sales you should, consider raising the price.

It may go against common sense or logic, but many times you will see your sales and profits skyrocket.?
