Internet Marketing The Golden Key to Success is in Your Hands, But You Ignore It!

Success is the Blue Bird everybody is chasing, struggling to catch, but only a few people have been able to grab it!

Most probably, you have been one of the hard chasers,
extremely busy writing ad copies, articles, press releases, sending them to media outlets and popular publications, striving night and day to promote your business using the most powerful Internet marketing strategies.
You have subscribed to hundreds of safe mailing lists, ezines, newsletters, sent your ads and articles to them regularly, spending your valuable hours and days. But the response was disappointing.

Then you tried to hire advertising agencies to make the
effective e-mail advertising for you. You paid them a lot
of money.

Finally you made a number of sales. But the results were
far from being satisfying. The money you made did not
even cover the expenses.

Then you wrote articles, you hired copywriters to write
more articles and press releases for you and you sent
them out to thousands of media outlets and thousands
of popular publications. To your surprise, the profits you
earned were not enough to pay the bills. You wonder why!

You have launched several weblogs (blogs), now you’re working hard to place fresh content in your blogs everyday or every other day, while submitting your blogs, comments, content to other blogs, which take a great deal of time, but you have not received one single visitor to your blogs yet. You don’t know why!

You have purchased an aggregator to read the RSS feeds
you were receiving, you also bought a software to turn
your articles and press releases into XML and RSS formats before sending them to RSS feed providers and distributors, e-zines, newsletters, news portals, blogs/journals, media outlets and relevant publications.

So, you’re spending a lot of money, time and efforts,
struggling like mad to market your business, website, blogs using the most powerful Internet marketing strategies, hoping to make your business a success to earn you a comfortable living.

After so much struggle, tears and sweat, are you happy and satisfied with the results you are getting now? No, most probably you are not!

How do I know? I know, because I had been there, too, until I discovered what was missing. Then I also discovered what the solution was. There is one thing you must do; there is one thing you and I and everybody must do to earn more money. Do it now, do it everyday until the end of your life:

READ !!

You are extremely busy submitting your ads, your articles,
your press releases night and day, but you do not read
other submissions.

You might say you do read some ads and articles when
you find time to read. But I’m sure you find time to read
only once in a while, because you’re too busy writing ads,
articles, press releases and submitting them to millions
of places every day. You are an extremely busy marketer.

All other marketers and business owners are too busy to
spare time to read. So, eventually you don’t read other
marketer’s articles and ads, and they don’t read yours. Or,
you all read only once in a while, which is obviously not
enough to produce the positive results to make you happy.

Then what’s the use to work so hard to write articles, press releases, ads, RSS feeds and more, and struggle so hard to post them to millions of portals, websites, media and publications, if nobody or only a few people would read them?

It’s a great waste of time, efforts and money! Of course, there are businesses and individuals who earn truck loads of money, but it’s only a small percentage in a crowd of millions of income seekers.

I am sure that the number of big money makers will grow fast when we learn how to play the game abiding by its rules.

We must admit that we need a great number of audience to read our ads, articles and other content in order to receive the great response we expect.

The great number of audience we need to earn more money is composed of you and I and other online business owners and opportunity seekers.

We can earn more money when our ads and content are read by more people who are our potential customers.

So, you and I and all others must read as much articles, ads, press releases, RSS feeds as we can. There is a simple solution for all income seekers to earn more money, which is a one small magic word.

READ !!

Don’t just write and submit, but read, too.

Read and encourage your friends, members, affiliates,
associates, customers, potential customers to read!

If you and all other millions of marketers and income seekers spare one our a day to promote their businesses, they must spare another hour to read. Reading must be considered as the important part of Internet marketing.

If we all build a reading habit, if we all include serious reading in our daily marketing program, if we all perceive reading as an important part of marketing, we all could be sure that our ads articles, RSS feeds and other promotions will be read by thousands of more potential customers daily, which will substantially increase the number of our sales, revenues, profits, and ROI (return on investment).

We learn the most powerful Internet marketing tactics and secrets by reading. We find out about new opportunities, new technology, new powerful ways in effective Internet marketing, The benefits we get from reading articles written by other entrepreneurs are unlimited.

Internet Marketing Tips from a 10-Year Old

Can a 10-year-old teach you anything about Internet
marketing? Until recently, I didn’t think so. But
let me tell you what happened…

My 10-year-old son Ben and his sisters wanted to attend
a musical theater class. The total price tag? $1,590!

I said they could go, but they’d need to earn the
tuition money.

Well, the kids are the published authors of a children’s
book called 15 Reasons I Love My Dad. It retails for
$14.95. Their proposal - go door to door and sell their
book until they raised the $1,590.

They decided to give people an incentive to buy the book
now by running a ‘neighborhood special’ and offering it for
only $10.00 instead of $14.95. In doing so, they created a
reason for people to take action.

Ben wrote the first spiel:

“Hi, I’m Ben and I’m the author of 15 Reasons I Love My
Dad, a fill-in-the-blank book that lets children show
their dad how much they love him. I’m running a
neighborhood special today. You can get the book for only
$10 instead of $14.95. Would you like to buy one?”

Ben journeyed out into the world of door to door salesand
sold five books to the first 13 people he talked to. His
sales conversion rate? 38%!

Ben wasn’t too happy with this. Afterall, eight people
didn’t buy his book. So, he sat down with his partners
to make some changes.

The kids rewrote the spiel. They added a reason why by
telling their prospect they were raising money to attend
a musical theater camp and they started handing the book
to the person as they talked.

The combination of the reason why and putting the book in
the hand of the prospect increased their conversion rate.
The kids talked to eight people and sold four books. Their
conversion rate? An impressive 50%.

But they still weren’t satisfied. They wanted more people
to buy their book. I tried explaining to them how in the
Internet marketing world, I’m happy with a one to two
percent conversion rate when I first start out. They
looked at me like I was crazy…The thought of knocking on
100 doors and only selling two books did not appeal to them
at all!

After some review, they decided that simply asking
a person if they wanted to buy a book made it too easy to
say no. So, they added a stronger call to action at the
end. And, they started going out in groups of two:

“Hi, I’m Ben and I’m the author of 15 Reasons I Love My
Dad. (Hand the book to the prospect.) It’s a fill-in-the-
blank book that lets children show their dad how much they
love him.”

“And I’m Cassie. We’re raising money to take a musical
theater class. We’re running a neighborhood special today.
You can get the book for only $10 instead of $14.95. How
many would you like to buy?”

The next time out, they went to eight houses and sold six
books. Conversion rate? A whopping 75%!

No one bought more than one book but instead of being
told, “No, I’m not interested” most people responded by
saying, “Ohhh, I think one is enough…”

Granted, the kids have only sold 15 books and they’ve got
a way to go to reach their goal of selling 159. And, their
numbers are too small to conclusively say that each little
change was directly responsible for the corresponding
increase in sales. But, assuming their results are valid,
what Internet marketing tips can you learn from a 10-year-
old?

First, set a goal. Know what you want to accomplish.

Second, create a plan for accomplishing your goal. Adding
a deadline always helps.

Third, start somewhere and then make changes to improve
your sales. They can only get better.

Fourth, give an incentive to take action now - offering a
limited time special or a limited number of items for sale
creates a sense of urgency.

Fifth, tell your prospects the reason for your offer.

Sixth, have a strong call to action so people know exactly
what you want them to do.

And seventh, know your numbers. Make changes designed to
improve your conversion rate and then monitor what happens.

And there you go. Real world Internet marketing lessons
learned from a 10-year-old.

Kindergarten Dropout Makes A Fortune In Internet Marketing

Hyperboles abound in Internet Marketing. Myth has its own area code.
Hype has its own country. And BS, its own universe.

Anyone desiring to enter this perilous terrain should proceed with
caution. Wearing a full body hype-resistant armor is
strongly recommended. If that’s not available, growing a second
layer of thick skin is advisable.

For the beginning marketer, novice webmaster or the Internet hobbyist
who just wants to earn a little extra income, all the hype can be
a little overwhelming. All the rhetoric may prove totally mind
boggling. Deadly even.

Who to believe? What to believe?

It’s a virtual mine field and you only have your cursor for a guide.
It can be down right scary if you’re not prudent with
your checkbook or your morals you can be misled, swindled,
and beguiled before you even turn on your computer.

Separating fact from fiction requires a considerable skill, usually
reserved for the judgments of Solomon.

Where to begin? Where to start?

This is where most would-be Internet Marketers go wrong from the
‘get-go’. They start out with the wrong mind-set. They want a
‘product/software/guru/guardian angel’ to come and show them what
to do. They want everything to magically come to them. As if
success in Internet Marketing, because it has to do with computers,
can be magically produced or brought about with the right
software program or the latest gizmo.

They want everything done for them.

Well, it doesn’t work that way. Sure you can buy the latest ‘info-
product’ or the latest ’software program’ and some of these will even
work for awhile or produce income but you’re still not getting off
on the right track. You’re not setting the right foundation.

First, you have to ‘Learn how to Learn’!

Learn how to teach yourself. Learn how you can use the vast resources
of the Net to teach yourself all you need to know about Internet
Marketing. Acquire the necessary skills to become self-taught.

The journey may take a little longer, but you will learn more along
the way and you will develop a greater self-reliance. In the end,
it’s you who will have to build that web site, provide the content, do
the SEO work, do the marketing…so get your Internet Business grounded
with the right foundation. Place yourself as the cornerstone of anything
you wish to build.

The Internet gladly gives up its secrets. Search them out. Find them.
Study them. It’s the best training ground ever created. The wealth of
information is truly astounding. The collective intelligence of a whole
world…

Ok, so the hyperbole meter is rising again, but you get the picture.

Next time you’re tempted, don’t drool over the latest Guru’s
‘How To’s’…’Kindergarten Dropout Makes a Bundle Working Only
40 Seconds on the Internet Each Day’, ‘How I Turned Google Into My
Own Personal Cash Slave’, ‘My Secrets Are Worth 20 Million a Month to Me,
I Just Can’t Wait to Tell You Everything’!

Don’t be fooled by the slick copy writing, don’t be tempted to
reach for that plastic wand.

Take a smarter approach. Use your brain. Use your God Given
Intelligence. Don’t buy the latest offerings from the next big
hot ‘marketing guru’.

Instead, do this.

If a marketing expert is making $15,000 a month with Google Adsense,
don’t automatically go out and buy his/her book of secrets. Use your head, if
you have the time, seek out their sites and pick them apart. Study the
lay-out, study the design, study the keywords. Learn everything you can,
and apply it to your own web site or marketing. The Internet gives
up its secrets, nature of the beast!

Next.

Don’t cultivate a need for the latest marketing ‘tell-all’ info-product,
but rather cultivate a relationship with the source. Seek out the
experts. Find one or two in the areas of Internet Marketing you need help
with: SEO, Mini Sites, Affiliate Marketing, List Building, Google
Adsense/Adwords, Copy Writing, etc.

Get to know the marketer who’s selling the product, join his/her
affiliate program, sign up to their opt-in newsletter, ask them
questions in the online forums. Be nice, be curious, be helpful to
them — whether it’s selling their products, bringing in more affiliates
or just being of assistance if asked for. Always remember it’s a two
way street and must be beneficial to both parties, so give as well
as receive.

Build relationships and you will build a foundation of knowledge that
you can draw from again and again. Develop these relationships with
a diverse group of marketing experts in the areas of interest that’s
vital to your Internet Marketing and you will be at the right starting
point.

Nurture these relationships, grow them, watch them bloom and your own
marketing results will harvest the rewards.

All you really have to do is Learn How To Learn. Teach yourself and
you will never have to go back to Kindergarten again.

Or buy another marketing info-product!

Tools/Software and yes, Marketing Info-Products!
